1907年から続くドイツはボーデン湖近くに位置するOstrach(オストラッハ)の弓製作工房Penzelで作られる弓の中でも、とりわけ選りすぐりの素材を用いて作られる"Equisit"シリーズより、Kurt Gerhard Penzelによって1970年～1980年頃に作られた弓です。
フレンチボウを想起させるような作りで、また世界中のコンサートホールで高い評価を受けたKurt Gerhard Penzelの全盛期に作られた弓の一つになります。
わずかながらではあるが、Penzel工房のトレードマークである水平なト音記号に挟まれる形でK.Gerhard Penzelの焼き印が読み取れる。また末端部分にはEquisitの焼き印も確認できる。
Penzel工房による鑑定書付き。重量 70.4ｇ。
This bow was made by Kurt Gerhard Penzel between 1970 and 1980 from the ‘Equisit’ series of bows made from the finest materials in the bow-making workshop Penzel in Ostrach, near Bodensee, Germany, which has been in existence since 1907.
This is one of the bows made by Kurt Gerhard Penzel in his golden period, with a construction reminiscent of French bows and a reputation in concert halls all over the world.
The "K.Gerhard Penzel" branding can be read, albeit slightly, between the horizontal G clef, the trademark of the Penzel workshop. The "Equisit" branding can also be seen at the end.
With certificate of authenticity by the Penzel workshop. Weight 70.4 g.
